Washington Butler was a native Puyallup Washington was always interested in the arts. She sang in choirs, entered singing competitions, and appeared in both schools and the local theater. After that, she relocated to Los Angeles and studied theatre at the University of Southern California. For a year and an half, she was Belle the princess in Beauty and the Beast. Her primary goal was to secure a talent agent. Then she auditioned for roles on TV and Film. Butler appeared on television in the show CSI: Miami and CSI: NY.She was cast in the feature film A Couple of White Chicks at the Hair Dresser and the 2008 Syfy TV film of horror Flu Bird Horror. That year she played the role of a woman in Don Stark's web series Luke 11-17. Butler is also a frequent guest on I Love Vampires. Butler was cast as the main role in I Spit on Your Grave (a remake) a 2010 revenge and the thriller of rape. Although initially sceptical about the film's nakedness as well as the brutality, its powerful female character and strong storyline convinced her to perform the role. Butler starred in Jennifer Hills as a novelist who is brutally assaulted by a gang in a cabin on vacation. The film, directed by Steven R. Monroe was released in October 2010. Butler started filming The Stranger Within (a psychological thriller) in Spain, Mallorca together with Estella Ward as well as William Baldwin back in November 2011. She was part of the cast for Los Angeles of Treachery, starring Michael Biehn. Filming began in Los Angeles on June 12, 2012.
